Whoop Whoop
When we sent off our entry to the 2011 Webby Awards we knew we would be against the worlds internet best – these are big awards, the most respected in fact – hey they have had Prince preform at the awards and the list of judges were nothing sort of impressive!
But we thought why not, we may have a yearly budget that many spend in an hour, but we believed our passion and the support we receive from our visitors, youth content producers and content partners was what truly makes Tune In Not Out a website to be recognised, so we pressed the send button.
The 15th Annual Webby Awards received nearly 10,000 entries from all 50 US states and over 60 countries worldwide. So you can imagine our excitement that we have become an Official Honoree in this years awards. Tune In Not Out was the only Australian based website to become an Official Honoree for Youth Website category, receiving recognition next to a high profile names including MTV Network and Pixton Comics.
We would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to all of the young people who visit the site everyday and access the information we have available, we hope that it goes a little way to making a difference for you.
