Welcome to our first Youth News blog. We write this as Australia has just finished the largest celebration of Young people in Australia through National Youth Week- and what a great bunch you are.
With a theme of Live Now, National Youth Week saw over 1000 events happen nation wide – did you attend one in your area? How was it for you?
National Youth Week may be over but lets keep celebrating you. You don’t have to look very far for a good example of a young Australian, from Jessica Watson who is on the last leg of her voyage to become the youngest ever person to sail solo around the world, through to the young carers who live in your community and of course to you!
In this blog we aim to keep you updated with news and information on being a young Australian from lighthearted stuff like when festival tickets go on sale through to policy changes, which may affect you.
