Only one month and 17 days left till I can hug and kiss my hunnie back home in Tassie. At the moment, I am visiting my family at my home-home where I grew up in America, New Jersey to be exact. I am really enjoying catching up with friends and getting to hang out and with my cute Mommy and Daddy who I miss so much when I’m gone, however, missing my boyfriend of two years totally sucks!
It has been one month and two days already, which comes to a grand total of two months and three weeks, the longest we have ever had to do apart since we’ve been a couple.
Yeah I know, distance makes the heart grow fonder and blah dede blah blah, but my heart was quite fond of him already. So now, here we are on opposite sides of the globe, missing each other like crazy. We Skype of course, but as anyone who has ever been in along distance relationship knows, Skype can be a Mother Effer of a tease!
“Oh look there you are! So close but so far! Wish I could hug you…CAN’T,
Wish I could kiss you…CAN’T!
Wish, Can’t, Wish, Can’t, Wish, Can’t”
And then, out of nowhere you CAN’T even see the person because it has suddenly cut out.
Huhh, But still, don’t get me wrong, it’s better than nothing. And, I do suppose it is nice to get all excited to check my Facebook again to see if I got a message from him; it feels like when we first met two and half years ago. I even fix my hair and makeup when we Skype, even though he has seen me look crap on plenty occasions. I just have to look on the bright side and see this as a way to relieve the beginning. After all, life is the way you choose to look at it.
